Bush to make a speech to the nation

It will be from the USS Abraham Linclon off the Californias coast where he will go to deliver the speech to announce the end of combat in Iraq.

But Josh not all will come home because a good sized force will stay in Iraq to preserve stability before a new goverment is installed.

Yep...the war is over, but the rebuilding will be the hard part. This administration has a tough job ahead of them and I hope they make the right decisions. I wouldn't want that pressure on me.

To bump this thread as the speech will be tonight at 9:00 PM EDT from the carrier USS Abraham Linclon to announce the end of combat in Iraq but still troops will stay in Iraq until all is resolved about a new goverment.

...the war is over,
Bush will not announce that tonight... If they did they would be certain "Rules" they would have to start abiding by..
IE: Releasing the POW's and were not through questioning them yet, so that will not happen

He will announce that major combat in Iraq is over but still he wont say that war is over because still there are little pockets scattered around of resistance to the US presence there.
