Just curious what are everyone's weekend plans? Mine seems to be filled with home improvement projects and yardwork. I was idle last weekend due to being sick with a sore throat. So its time to play catchup.
Hope to go out to eat Saturday night and to a car show with hubby. Lets hope the weather cooperates.

Baking, (7) pies for my Nephew's first holy communion. Now don't let your mouth water too much, but Blueberry, Peach, Cherry and 1 Cheesecake
I have gardening to do but I love working in the yard.
I think I'll just kick back tonight and have a few glasses of Chardonnay.
Well since I'll be doing three of my favorite things, I'll be a happy camper.

Karan's our baker - we got fat by the pot belly stove, sitting on the front porch and in the park just by talking about it! :o
I'm taking my niece shopping tonight with my mother for her 13th birthday. The rest of the weekend will be errands and my gardening too!

Have to take my three horses to the vet on Saturday for their 6 month West Nile Virus shots and get their hooves shaved. Trust me that will be an ALL day event. Sunday is church time with a big family brunch after church. Then if I feel like it, I need to do some yard work myself.
Garnet... where is your child going for the band trip? My son was going to Washington but plans changed when the war started. They decided to go to Orlando and are playing at Universal Studios tomorrow. I did not have to get up early. They left at 9 p.m. Wednesday night, thank goodness.

Not expecting to do much this weekend. My weekends are generally very quiet. Not much to do.
Some weekends my extended family have family functions to attend, but obviously my parents and I can't take part down here in central Florida. Sometimes we (my parents and I) or we will do things with neighbors, but that doesn't happen too often.

Nope, not here! My yard is composed of 120 square feet of grass and about 70 tons of crushed granite. No mowing for me! Not even raking the rocks this weekend!!!
Out to lunch on Saturday with a friend I grew up with who just recently moved to Queen Creek, Arizona, from IL. Then, working Sunday for a few hours so that I can zip off to IL on Wed. for a week.
Kathy and I are catching a little Friday night supper somewhere fun when I leave from work today in a couple of hours.
If I can sneak a peak of my first place (dreamer!) Cubbies I'll check out a few innings sometime this weekend....and I'll take my Saturday AM stroll to nearby Northsight Park...and watch all the folks getting their riding lessons at the stables near there.
How's that for a busy agenda!

You'll only have to do it once

If you think the lawnmower's loud just wait till you hear the sound of a 12 gauge pump in your ear

Laundry, organizing the bills for payday next week, taking the kids to the park, burning trash, taking the recycling to the collection place, fixing some spots on our brick patio, mowing grass, grocery shopping, hopefully a bike ride both days, catching up on a week's worth of newspapers, trolling e-bay, maybe downloading some mp-3's, cooking, cleaning, and keeping up with Storm 2K!

This is scary, but I honestly don't know...
Other than watching the race at Richmond Sunday, and possibly visiting dad tomorrow (if Beth doesn't have to work), I have nothing planned.
Tomorrow there's the annual "A Taste of Douglasville" at O'Neal Plaza....leading restaurants from all over the county with sample cuisine and entertainment.
It's not much fun when you're on a diet
