Okay, if anyone knows who Dana is please give me some info. I do not want to wait two weeks to find out.

We think it's the deceased wife's daughter. The baby blanket at the end signifies to me, she died young. And no one the street remembers a Dana in that family.

TV Guide has something on it today....let me go look for you Linda....

SUNDAY

Desperate Housewives
OK, so either Zach killed his little sister, Dana, and that's what was in the trunk, thus solving a big chunk of the great Mary Alice mystery, or this is a diversionary tactic worthy of Survivor producer Mark Burnett. Where's Jeff Probst asking pointedly awkward questions when you need him most? Anyway, there were a lot of good lines in this episode. Let's go down the list.

"All in favor of the woodsman going medieval on the big, bad wolf's ass [raise your hand]." — Lynette (Felicity Huffman), disagreeing with Maisy's (Sharon Lawrence) nonviolent take on Little Red Riding Hood.

Susan (Teri Hatcher): "I checked up on this Silvercrest place, it's a treatment center for troubled kids. Who's gonna notice one more? I create the distraction, you blend in and find Zach... Pretend to be bulimic. Gag a little. C'mon, work with me here."
Julie (Andrea Bowen): "Mom, when this is over, we need to talk about your parenting skills."

"I love sex. I love everything about it. The sensations, the smells. I especially love the feel of man, all the muscle and sinew pressed against my body. And then when you add friction.... To be honest, the only thing I don't like about sex is the scrotum. I mean, obviously it has it's practical applications, but I'm just not a big fan." — Bree (Marcia Cross), convincing the marriage counselor that she doesn't appear disconnected during sex (even taking into account obviously messy cheese steaks).

Bree: "I'm jealous of how much time you spend together. My mother-in-law would never want to hang out with me all day."
Gabrielle (Eva Longoria): "Sounds nice."

Dana is Zack.

Nah...just kidding!! I don't know. I have to go back and watch the second half. I knew it was recording and I was tired so I drove home from Bayou Vista and didn't see it all.

Why do we have to wait two weeks? Is that when the next ep airs? Do we know we'll find out in two weeks? After all, we still don't know what's in the big chest that was buried below the pool.

What? Even TV Guide is off track then!!!

Okay, Shawn - give details!!! Was Zack a twin? Wow, this storyline is getting bizarre. I thought it was a baby girl/sister too, from the blanket to the trunk, to what TV Guide said today!

Self edit....

OMG didn't scroll down on your post - my bad!!! LOL I think I need to step away from this computer and start dinner. :-)

You could start a rumor though Shawn - go ahead, the show is so wacky, I think some fans would buy it! Dual personality Zack.

Ah okay! Now question is, what is the Father hiding? Did he kill Mary Alice? or did Zack kill his baby sister?

Yep, two weeks Duckie. Not sure why they are not airing next weekend. :(

LOL!

All I know is that this is definitely becoming more like "Twin Peaks" every time we turn around.

Does Gab's mother-in-law get on anyone else's nerves?

That husband is a shady character. I have no idea what happened to that baby. Probably some sort of neglect or accident, but Mary Alice probably held it against her husband. And he took on the guilt. And now the son is all messed up. The writers of this show picked a perfect time to premiere this show - there's nothing like it on TV right now!

Linda, we discussed DH on another thread Shawn started. Some of what we talked about might shed some light on storylines for you.

It has to be good to tear me away from Football (now that baseball is over) and Fox News.

Don't tell me I fell asleep during the best part of the show!!!

I am really having trouble following it, maybe because of the times I don't get to watch it, but man oh man there are some convoluted twists!!! Was anybody expecting that landlady to b e killed by what's his name? Or did he actually kill her?

I have last night's episode still on tape, yet to be watched (we were watching Survivor from 8 to 11).

Sooooo....is the busy-body wife, aka Gladys Kravitz-lady, really dead? I don't mind details if anyone watched. Just curious....my hubby actually said he didn't care if I taped it or not! But then again he hated soaps....doesn't even care if the lady survives or not....LOL I think he's like you j, he'll tune in if Teri Hatcher drops her towel again!!!

This show just keeps on getting better and better!

I can't believe Gabriella tossed Carlos' passport in the fireplace! But I did get a good laugh at her moving all their belongings out of the house.

I watched part of one episode (~5 minutes) and discovered that I can't watch it without keeping my sanity.

The again I am a mature gay male teenager.

*cough*

Uh, your sexual orientation has nothing to do with your being able to keep your sanity while watching this show!! Trust me!!!!

What gets me about this show is the recently murdered wife's absence hasn't been investigated yet. 3 weeks have gone by! So I guess that says to viewers - don't be a busy-body, don't irritate your neighbors so much that when you just disappear everyone is relieved to have a much needed break from your prying!!!! But previews of the next ep show the police knocking on the door......

Bree....wow, she about gave her husband another heart attack when she told him what's on her mind!!! Don't mess with her. Marcia Cross is superb in this role - very controlled, calm, collected. We used to feel sorry for her husband, not now! Not that I would condone a wife taking a husband to the cleaners as she's about to do...but it does make for entertaining TV.

Last night was great. Yes... this is my guilty pleasure *hides behind Christmas tree* I can't believe I'm really watching this show.

Anyway... my favorite scene was where Gabrielle moved the "odds and ends" to Bree's garage, the look on Bree's face when she found out it included everything and the kitchen sink was priceless.

:roflmao:

This is based on episode descriptions...

On the January 16th airing, they will begin to look for Mrs. Huber.

A repeat of the Pilot is on Sunday, it doesn't air on January 2nd, and then a new episode on January 9th.

Brent - thanks for the info. I might have missed the pilot. I think a late football game interefered with us taping it. I read upcoming episodes also. Ryan O'Neal will play Lynette's father-in-law in a January episode. You probably don't even know who he is!
