I met Shannon, her husband Brian, and her two kids Chloe and Bret down in Galveston today. We had a pretty good time...we went walking down the beach, talked for a few hours, and ate at a hamburger restaurant. It was pretty fun...I had a great time! It was my first time meeting anyone from the message boards so it was a little weird at first. We got a few pictures but hopefully we will get more next Saturday when they return from their cruise.

Anyway, Shannon wants me to say a few things to y'all while she's gone...

WHERE WERE YOU DAVID???We were expecting you!!! Seriously, David...ticka...she wants you two to meet us at her hotel this upcoming Saturday. Can you make it??? Are you up to it???

She also told me to say that she's going on a cruise...and y'all aren't.

MF, I will try to get the film developed ASAP. I still have to take a few more pics left to take so it may be a while.

HD, it sounds like you had an interesting day. I am glad you enjoyed the time with fellow board members from Texas.

Can't wait to see the pictures. Glad you had a good time with Furry.

OHD, it is better that I wasn't there today as I am still fighting "the Crud". Sure wouldn't want to get Furry and clan sick for the cruise. I didn't even go to church today!

Let me know what time we are talking about Saturday and I will try to make it. I'll have to finish cleaning the house with the wife since we are having everyone over for Mommy's day. Should be able to do that and accomplish Galveston too. Planning on bringing her with me anyway!

Let us know the specifics OtherHD - and I'll try to get the hubby to Galveston and meet everyone too.

How cool is that!? I don't think i've met anyone from any messageboard i've been on.

I am hoping Saturday works out for us. I am going to get enough courage up and meet up with everyone. This is going to be hard. Waiting on OtherHD with the details so I can plan this into our always busy weekends.
