Nothing on Thanksgiving Day. My dad has to work(but it's his last day for awhile). Either Friday or Saturday, relatives are coming for our Thanksgiving dinner(Turkey, Dressing, and all that). The other day will feature nothing probably as will Sunday most likely.

Yup, Rockwall is near Lake Ray Hubbard (been there -- it's HUGE!).

Happy Birthday Alicia...my daughter turned 12 on Thursday!
GET THIS: My kids have 10 days off for TG! 10 days! We're staying home and having the feast here, with only Brians nephew as family visiting...he's moving here this weekend from Chicago to work at a ski resort for the winter. We'll most likely be spending the majority of the time up at Big Bear with him, with all the kids snowboarding their hearts away!
Happy Thanksgiving holiday to everyone!

Pumpkins?! lol...Brian has started putting up outside lights and lawn decor...he has over 20 animated creatures going out in the yard...now I'm concerned about all of those things! I told the punk next door that he better not step foot on my property and nothing and I mean not a single light better burn out or be out of place this whole season, or he would be paying for it...and I don;t mean monetarily!

Folks and I having the kids down here for this coming weekend to see their Grandparents and Uncle Eric!

Buying a pet Beta fish Saturday morning at PetsSmart, then see an afternoon play called "Th' Unspected Gift" (spelling that way on purpose)

, and then church Sunday morning...those being the main events for the weekend.
The kids, Janae and Jared and their parents will be at Mt. Airy, NC this Thanksgiving to be w/ my brother-in-law's folks and his (brother-in-law's) sister's family out that way.

We'll have my sister's family here for Christmas Eve afternoon and evening!
Otherwise, my folks and I will be celebrating Thanksgiving (the 3 of us) here in Raleigh and watch some football.

And leftovers Friday and Saturday.
Eric

This will be a very special holiday season for me. I'm back home with family (THANK YOU GOD !!!!). Even if we just had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to eat, it wouldn't matter to me. I'm just so thankful to be back home. I'll miss mom and dad but that will make the holidays that much sweeter. Love who you have while you have them.
Love you guys,
Debbie

Deb, I am with you on the "coming home" feeling!
I made it back here, several years ago, where I
grew up - around family, again, and, couldn't be
happier!
Our office is going to be closed next Wed, Thurs,
and Fri, in addition to the weekend off! I'll get food
ready on Wed night, then get up early and go help
Mama get everything ready on Thursday for dinner.
The rest of the weekend is wonderfully "up-in-the-
air"!!

My holiday plans (as usual the past several years) are up in the air...dependent on the health of my grandmother and great aunt.
Hopefully, we'll all be meeting at my stepsister's home in Newnan, GA for Thanksgiving dinner, but dad has to work (as usual); but at least Chris (my bro-in-law) and I can introduce my 3-month old nephew Ryan to the joys of Thanksgiving football and the annual lighting of Atlanta's Christmas Tree on WSB-TV.
In case either my granny or great aunt (or both) doesn't feel well enough to make the 34 mile trip to Maria's, I have tentative plans to get our delicious home cooked Thanksgiving dinner at a local Folks restaurant
As for the remainder of the holiday weekend...what Chad said (FOOTBALL FOOTBALL EAT EAT

We will be here at my house with my daughter and grandson. Sister will probably be working so I don't know what plans she has made. I wish my parents were still alive because if they were we would all be at mom's place. This year of firsts with out her is pretty depressing for me. My holiday spirit is almost nonexistent because of it.

I'll be here...probably alone (Debi and Coppertop MAY go to STL to see my stpedaughter, or to "Grandma's" in Risco, 40 m. SSW of here).
I will welcome the "run of the house" for a change...no people underfoot.
