You would think they would have learned after Nipplegate at the Super Bowl. Again... sports is one of those things that is not rated and anyone should be able to watch without having to worry about seeing or hearing inapproriate things.

:grr:

They don't need to promote Desperate Housewives anyway... it's pulling 20+ million viewers. They certainly don't need to do it that way.

I missed it (thankfully), but to air something that racy at 9 p.m. on a Monday night is disgusting. :grr:

Television programming has went down into the gutter the past two decades...and now sadly, even sporting events I've enjoyed since childhood are following suit :(

Not a lot of people understood the MNF opening, Back in the day when LT played for the NY Giants coach by Big Bill, LT would send ladies up to the room of the Eagles players the night before the game hoping to ware them down some before they played. :)

Nothing was actually visible, right? It was all just implied?

I just saw the opening on tape yesterday.. I actually thought that since Nicolette was only seen from the back side.. there really wasn't much wrong with it..

Now if they would have shown her entire naked body standing there in front of TO that would have been on a different scale..

On the other side.. it was in prime time where some children may have actually been watching.. So I am divided..

I didn't get why they were doing it anyway, since the NFL is airing a Texans game and there is no Desperate Housewives on next Sunday. That is, until I found out it IS on next Sunday, but earlier than usual. That must have been part of the reason for the promo. Unfortunately, I guess no one got the point if it was. :)
