Man Asks Judge To Castrate Him For Crimes

DELAND, Fla. -- A Deltona man is asking a judge to include chemical castration as part of the sentence he awaits on a charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition.

John Harrison is scheduled to be sentenced today by Circuit Judge S- James Foxman. The judge could order Harrison jailed for up to 20 years in prison because of two prior convictions for similar crimes.

Harrison has repeatedly asked for the chemical castration, which introduces a female hormone to block testosterone production. He was arrested last fall for fondling himself in front of two children. Harrison has never been charged with physically harming anyone.

Florida law allows for the chemical or physical castration of some rapists and even requires it for certain repeat rapists

lol...uh! I dunno...the sad thing is he is picking his punishment. I wouldn't even give him the satisfaction of having that done~
