In another article he claims to have predicted the original 9.0 quake but didn't tell anybody. Priceless.
One problem with this guy is his site LOOKS very professional. There's no indication the guy is not a geologist...it doesn't have that obvious kook look of a Steve Quayle type site (or the late and unlamented "East Coast Tropical Weather Center" site, for a comparison in the tropical enthusiast community.)
Really a shame to see kook science not merely be something harmless to make fun of...if you saw those terrified people running yesterday in Sri Lanka....

There were very few POSITIVES on that program whether it be the environment, astroids hitting the earth, etc.
