Believe it or not I'm a big movie buff....here's my top 5 movies of 2004...the top 3 in my opinion are interchangable...anyway...

1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Hard to put this ahead of Million Dollar Baby...but the creative aspects of the script and the performance of Jim Carry put it over the top. I love movies that you have no way to know how they end.

2. Kill Bill Vol. 2

Beartix getting to Bill's expansive home...expecting confrontation and finding...her daughter? Gut-wrenching. Tarintino delivers but probably gets missed for all the awards he deserves for this epic conclusion to an incredible story. Here's my brain teaser for tonight...is Bill really dead?

3. Million Dollar Baby

Clint Eastwood does it again. Morgan Freeman excells and Hillary Swank deserves the best supporting actress nod. A shoe-in for best picture...it will win hands down. A must-see.

4. Collateral

Michael Mann makes up for Ali. This brooding look at LA makes Tom Criuse a perfect villian. Jaime Foxx should get best supporting actor for this role but I betcha Morgan Freeman beats him out.

5. The Incredibles

Who doesn't love a down-and-out return to glory superhero story?

Disclaimer: I haven't seen Hotel Ruwanda but will see it as soon as it is released down here. Sideways gets an honorable mention but it is not in the class of the fims above.

That movie has been on PPV lately. I'm hoping it still is because I've read many good reviews on it and now just got another one from you.

I haven't seen either of the "Kill Bill" movies. Like the other ones, though :D
