My fav is Thousand Island but I also love Buttermilk Herb
I can't stand Blue Cheese dressing

I voted for French dressing... when I used to eat salad years ago (only lettuce, mozarella cheese, sliced carrots and croutons when we had them) I only liked to French dressing on it.

I haven't had salad dressing since then, aside from on chicken, in that way it doesn't seem like "salad dressing."

I perfer to make my own dressings; my favorite is a red wine vinaigrette using cream sherry instead of burgundy, although I also favor a semi-thick red made with Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce/Marinade and curry powder, mixed with honey.

If I do use cheese, it is freshly-cut or grated (usually Parmesan or Romano), and added as a generous garnish before serving.
