Okay, I'm going to really date myself here but I remember when you could....
1. Call your home #, receiving a busy signal.
2. You hung up.
3. Your home phone rang then, but of course the line was dead.
This was great if you wanted to pretend you had a real call.....I remember doing silly stuff like this to get out of chores when I was a teen. Ooops, sorry mom can't mop the floor, I'm on the phone.....
