Anyone know Mark mathis from the fox station in Charlotte NC? I happen to come across this clip on a media board. This guy is a riot.

He would really boost the Weather Channels ratings. I about fell out of my seat watching him.

That is hysterical. They'd never let that guy in the Tampa Bay market, but it would be a "good thing" if they did.

I cant even imagine the weather being forecast like that, but I would love it! That guy is a trip! Are those his outtakes? Or is that for real?

He's a weatherman who desired to be a stand up comic. Gotta love it.

Sorry folks...but while I found myself laughing out loud at what he was getting away with on the air, the guy wouldn't last one night if I were a station manager.
A comic...maybe. But a meteorologist?
Even if I lighten up as loose as I can, he doesn't do a thing to help OCM's get respect.
But then...I'm the old f**t in the crowd!

Four favorite weather personalities that I've always enjoyed are Ira Joe Fisher (CBS), Al Roker (NBC), Tony Perkins (ABC) and...now retired...Willard Scott for ie. all have a wit about them but just not overly done as they keep it within limits their humorous moments!
In some ways I agree with (Azskyman) Steve...those like Mark Mathis can be overdone on the weather - blend - comedy circuit!

I wonder what he puts in
his coffee.
I add a little French Vanilla creamer.

Oh geez.... outrageous!! Trying to picture this guy in the West Palm Beach market. But I don't know how jokes about "cleaning his pipes out" and a discussion on the Pamela/Tommy Lee video would fly with the Century Village bingo crowd.
I say put him on TWC alongside Kristina Abernathy.

He looks to me like he's been drinking Irish Coffees. A few too many, at that.

Probably not nearly as off-the-wall as he is in these clips!
