Tonight's the 1st of 4 parts with auditions. Yep, even the really really really really really bad ones.

i've never watched that. is it worthwhile? or is it another senseless thing to get addicted to....

Well, it IS senseless, but it's a fun show to watch. I accidentally got hooked last season and watched it religiously afterwards.

Watching the auditions can be fun, but if you miss it, you can catch a lot of the really bad performances online at http://www.idolonfox.com.

That is what happened to me the first season!!! It really gets good when they are into the last 32 or so in Hollywood, but if you really want to see some hysterical "talent" watch the first shows too. It is beyond my comprehension how some of those people can even attempt to think they have a talent for singing!!!
I swear some of them have got to be doing it as a dare or a joke!!! In the end though they have found some incredible talent with each season that may not have had the resources and/or chance to make it otherwise.
