Build an EASY tornado simulator; cool science fair project

My daughter did this last year, and it was definitely the coolest science fair project in the school. Teachers, parents, students, even neighbors came from all over the see the demo.

It's very easy to build and cheap. It's one of the few tornado simulators that doesn't require a fan for the updraft. Most of the items you probably have around the house.

Tom Grazulis also has a video that explains how to build both the simple simulator and a much more involved one.
