Mines is august because it is my birthday month and it is one of the peak months of hurricane season. :)

I am with a few of the other memebers: each month has some enjoyment to it. Mine would have to be March through June.

Some of the likes and dislikes of the 12 months:

JANUARY Starting off a new year with many possibilities. :) But the weather can kind of be depressing at times and COLD. :(

FEBRUARY Made it to Febraury. Getting closer to spring. :) A particular day in mid-Feburary (this year 2005, it is Monday), for now, don't necessarily hate it but it is somewhat depressing! :( Oh, yeah, this year, Mid-Terms :(!

MARCH Made it to March  Springs starts mid-month = thunderstorm season. :D :D Warming temperatures :D :D. On really nice days, girls wearing shorts...uhm, never mind   ;) Nothing really bad with March; it is a very changeable month.

APRIL through early JUNE Warming temperatures, melting snow, if any, and girls wearing shorts. ;) Finals in May :(

Late JUNE through AUGUST My birthday, August 4! :D :D Girls wearing...oh, nevermind! Very hot, humid days (90 +) :(, unless of course, well, you know... ;)

SEPTEMBER through early NOVEMBER School starts late August/early September, kind of a :) :( deal. I like it but it can stress sometimes. Cooling temperatures and fall weather :).

late NOVEMBER through DECEMBER The holidays. Again, this is a variable deal. It is fun being with relatives for only limited time, and it is no fun working or shopping in the mess from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve. A little up-down period! :( :)

I agree. I generally enjoyed the Massachusetts winters. They are too dry here/compared to what I am used to -- and the difference in rainfall totals compared to the summertime.

It seems like a weather enthusiast would have more than one favorite month. :D

In metro Atlanta.....my favs are September and October. Weather is awesome, football kicks off, hurricane season is in full swing.

Rating from best to worst:

1/ September: cooler wx, football, hurricanes

2/ October: Autumn leaves, football, great wx

3/ May: first real summerlike month, but not too hot...a wonderful month in Georgia

4/ November: football, holiday season begin

5/ December: Christmas season, football

6/ January: football playoff time, plus the best shot at snow in ATL

7/ April: can be nice and stormy (as in 1998)...but also cold/ wet; dry Aprils are horrible with my allergies

8/ June: always kinda boring...not much of a baseball fan; also can be very hot

9/ August: sometimes an early kickoff of major hurricane season...most times just hot and muggy...and boring

10/ July: I enjoy the 4th, but overall a month I loathe. Few hurricanes; plus extreme heat I dread every year

11/ March: can be exciting when major tornadoes occur...most times just wet, soggy, and too cool to enjoy being outside; also boring for guys who don't like basketball (i.e- me)

12/ February: worst month of the year to me....no more football***; cold & wet but little snow; only sporting event I enjoy all month is the Daytona 500

***note***
Super Bowl is February 6th this year....if the NFL keeps it in February will definitely improve it's rating on my list :D
