Yes I do... I have thumper and a butterfly on my right ankle, the Fantasia Mickey Mouse on my left ankle, and a 4 leafed clover on my left shoulder, and I want another one on the small of my back...

Nope, for three reasons - 1) I couldn't give blood for a year if I got one, 2) I don't really want one anyway, and 3) if I did get one, it would be an eagle and American flag -- nothing else -- but I just don't want one.

The pain factor doesn't bother me.

None, but I am not against them. At times I have considered it, but it wouldn't be anything that would stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not sure I have a high enough pain threshold to deal with where I think I want one anyway(don't get any crude ideas).

I don't have or want one after I saw how it was done . A friend had a small rose tattooed on her wrist when we were in San Diego in 1977. It was something she wanted , I was just along for the moral support for her.

No tatoos here. And I think I've successfully convinced my children that they're not a good idea.

True story: This past summer we were driving down the road. Stopped at a traffic light next to us was a 60+ weathered and wrinkled looking man on a Harley. This guy's arms were covered with tattoos (which might have looked OK once upon a time but don't now). Daughter (9 at the time) pointed at him and said "ewwww, Mom....now I know why you don't want us to get tattoos. They look gross on old people".

I told her "YEP". That's EXACTLY why you shouldn't ever get one. They might look good when you're young...but they don't when you get older.

So....hopefully my twins will not be interested in a few year's time (and I'm hoping they won't be nearly so en vogue by then either).

I don't have one. I've thought about getting one here and there, but i'm not sure what I would want.

Marty has a HUGE Shotokan Tiger on his right calf with the years he graduated another degree in his black belt. He's a 4th degree now ( and still thinks he's in his 20's  ).

My blood type is tattooed under my left upper arm...a relic of my WW II reenactment days.

I've considered it in the past, but my basic understanding of the effects of the passage of time and the laws of gravity made me less inclined to do it. That cute little puppy I was looking at would likely look a bit more like Droopy Dog by now.

I know I don't have to worry about my 22 yr. old son getting any. If you say shot or needle near him he gets faint!!!

I have 2. Left bicep - Red Sox logo with 1918 above it, and 2004 below it.
Right bicep - Fancy initials J & C combined with a tribal kind of design around it with 2 small rings and 1 large ring signifying our unification for life. The J & C was my design, the surrounding tatoo was the artist's.

Neglible pain if done in fleshy areas but once you are over some boneage...be prepared to grimace some.
