Do you really think that smokin' weed on the bus is a really good idea?

Last year, my bus driver caught a group of students smoking on the bus, we we're lucky, b/c he only gave us a warning.

As for this year's bus driver, whenever she sees a cigarette or any kind of tobacco product on the bus she drives us back to school on a ride home.

The whole 11 years i rode the school bus i never saw or smelled anyone smoking weed let alone a cigarette! I can't believe people are stupid enough to do that.

I can't believe it either. What is wrong with our kids?? Nevermind, I think I know the answer.

Cigerets were a fixed thing on our bus when i was in highscool... Weed?? Might have seen it once or twice on the bus... Crazy

In the 70's, at least where I grew up, it was not all that un-common to smell some refer coming from the back of the bus on occasion. Yes....it was bad (and no..I wasn't one of the one's doing it), but never once witnessed a weapon, a violent attack, sexual acts....that are common place today. It's a different world out there today, and has to be dealt with differently than it was back then. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone it, especially not on school property....but I think today the problem is it may not just be a joint going around back there...they might be smoking crack, snorting some Meth, and having themselves a regular orgy.

Time to crack down.

Umm... I graduated from high school about 2 yrs. ago and rode the bus most of my school years. Never do I recall anyone doing that at the back of the bus. Maybe it is a bigger city problem??

When I lived in Orlando, FL; I was the only one allowed to sit in the back of the bus because my bus driver didn't trust anyone else back there. I didn't smell any weed though. :o

Well what do you expect? This generation is the offspring of the children of the 60's and 70's. History will show that the hippie generation was the beginning of many of the ills that afflict us.

The question is...... Will we see it legalized now that this generation will be the ones in office????

I really think it may be legalized. NEver said i wanted it to be though

Weed on the BUS????? My God, we NEVER did anything like THAT! Sure, I smoked cigs at a young age (14) still do *sigh* but NEVER, EVER smoked dope on the bus, Sheeeesh!

I remember the cigarette smoking in the back of the bus (me ) and the pot smoking (not me - too afraid of getting caught :o ).

If the kids get caught, then they should be disciplined. smoking dope makes you dopey, fat, etc....
