I posted my thoughts over on the other topic you started, but I will post it again. There is a lot of white, but I think I can get used to it!

I think this one runs a lot faster than all the others ... I like it because of that.

Well, it's BRIGHT enough (getting out my "shades' for a better look...) :o
Great job here...but where's the "local wx conditions" box on the Forum Index page?

lol streetsoldier...got mine on too
I posted this in the Tips forum under New MB Look, but has anyone else noticed anything stange about the Emoticons page? I'm getting a black background, very shrunken Emoticons that are hard to see and some aren't showing up at all.

We are in the process of putting the "Local Wx Conditions" on a separate page like the calendar. We are doing this to conserve bandwidth and help the performance a little. As soon as we get that done we will pull the weather off of the other templates.

Ok, I notice a little more color on the pages, but I still don't like it. I have to scroll over just to read posts and to me it's inconvenient.

I agree HD, have to scroll to far over to read a whole post or see the boards. Just my opinion.

Is there a reason why this new look is bigger than my 17" monitor? I have to use the arrows to move it back and forth just to read it. Any idea why this is happening?

It's just a teeny bit wider than my display area (maybe by .1" or so) but nothing worth complaining about. Are you sure your display area is set to 1024 x 768? I have a 17" monitor and it's basically fine for me.

I have the same problem while reading the messages and forum columns. I have to scroll every single time. I posted this earlier in the Tips forum and Marshall replied with something you can try. It didn't work for me, but it might for you.

On a 17' monitor you should set the resolution to 1024x768 and it should fit fine. If you have a smaller monitor you may want to go back to one of the other templates tomorrow... sorry

Thanks guys. So now one more question... where do you find this resolution to set it? Sorry.. hee hee

No problem... Right click an empty spot on your desktop and select properties.... Then go to settings and you will see resoultion there... Slide the bar over untill 1024 X 768 shows..
This is just a first draft guys... If you dont like it just tell us what you think we can do to improve it.
