Hello folks....
Kathy and I have returned from our time in Illinois. Weather there was either windy (50mph+, rainy, stormy, humid, or cold) except for one nice day. That's the name of the game in northern Illinois in May! Had a nice visit with family and friends.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers on losing my uncle while I was there. He passed away while we were at church on Mother's Day. Heard the sirens whiz by the church...not knowing it was the paramedics enroute to his home. We appreciate your kindness.
First 100-degree day yesterday here. We'll crank it up as the weeks run on with many more to come. Don't you wish you were here? The good news, looking for it where I must, is that the pool water temp is approaching 78. A few more degrees and it will be warm enough for this old guy to head on in!

Welcome back, Steve. Glad to have you back with us.

My condolences once again, as well.
I did see Phoenix in the mid to upper 90's with 100 not far off and there they are.

Welcome Back Steve! Once again, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle.
One question - you need the water to be
higher than 78 degrees before you go swimming??? We're happy if it's over 70!

At this age, I like my pool water at 86 or HIGHER! Best times for me are at or after sunset from June 1 through September when water can be 86-93 and the sun is no longer out! Watched the international space station pass overhead many nights last summer!
What wimps we are not to like water above 70 degrees!

This is true!!
I can appreciate the fact of wanting to swim at around sunset when it's alot cooler out there. That heat is horrible and no matter how much you're in the pool, I'm sure you never quite get cooled off!
