STORM2K

I know that he was taking some time off of the message board a few months ago, but I did not think it was permanent. I hope to hear from him again sometime.

Has anyone heard from him?

The Admins and Mods have met concerning the situation with Rob. Based on a review message posts, chat room logs, e-mails and PM's the staff has decided to permanently ban Rob from Storm2K. The vote was unanimous. This is a decision that was not easy to reach but was felt to be in the best interests of the board.

We understand that some of you will be upset with this decision but please understand that all of the information is not available to the gneral board membership. We will be happy to discuss this via PM but will not divulge specific private information. Thanks for your understanding

I wish Rob was still here!

Not to start something, I miss him too. But I also understand the situation so I'm not criticizing either. He was sure wracking up the posts there for a while! One of a kind he was.......wish him well wherever he's posting these days.

Thanks for the info Stephanie. I had not seen that. I certainly do not intend to stir up anything, as I was not aware that he had officially been banned. Thanks again.

I was wondering where he was too, as I was wondering who was going to win the "Guess how many posts by June 1" contest. I figured at the frequency of his posting, he was going to get over 20,000, but I guess I didn't win that one.

Rob use to chat here? How wierd. I think he is banned from all the weather sites.

No problem JCT & Stormraiser - I knew it was posted awhile ago.

I saw him on a board, and I forget what it was. Someone at the weather channel board had a link to their own site with a board. (imagine that) Rob was registered there. I have his email address. If anyone wants to contact him, I'll email him and get his ok, and then post back here. I could PM the addy.

I also wanted him to have a second chance, but i respect the admins decisions...and told them so back when this was happening.

On behalf of the staff..I will tell you it was a difficult decision but was the only one that we were left with. There is a code of conduct at STORM2K and it provides all of us with a happy enviornment to post and have fun!!! When ANYONE!!! no matter who it is breaks the rules..they are gone!!! That is to insure all of us enjoy our experience on "The Best Board On The Net" If this doesn't answer the concerns raised in this thread..feel free to contact the Administration!!! Thanks for your time!!!
