According to FoxNews, Uday Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti is negotiating with the coalition for terms under which he can surrender. He wants to know what charges may be brought against him, and asks for asurances that he will be safeguarded from the Iraqi people.
Saddam himself is reported to still be in hiding, but is suffering a mental breakdown; he's "out of touch" with reality, issuing nonsense orders and asking for commanders that no longer serve him...no word at this time about Qusay, Saddam's second (and favored) son.

Latest from FoxNews on this; the US is not showing much interest in negotiations, feeling that they will capture the lot sooner or later.
(Speaking of FOX...Kiran Chetry showed up early this morning, wearing a tannish-brown blouse, mini-skirt and boots to match...WOOF!!!)
I've said it before, and I'll say it some more..."They don't call it 'FOX' for nothing!"

The rats need to be smoked out and turned over to the new Iraqi government for Islamic justice. No worries about 20 years of appeals there! Trial scheduled for 10:00, execution at 10:10

Uday seems to be fearful (and rightly so) that he wouldn't live two seconds if he were let out on any given Iraqi street....now, THAT'S an idea...

No, that wouldn't work very well, Marshall...remember the little old lady who was arrested for having knitting needles on a plane? She told the authorities she wanted to make an "Afghan"...they flipped! :o
