I couldn't out-smart them. Two of them have to go.

Join the club---unwise years ago---all four.
It really isn't all that bad.

I had 2 of mine pulled in December. Since I don't have dental insurance, I am still paying on it. Still owe $180. And now, my remaining wisdom tooth on the other side of my mouth is starting to bother me. I just don't have the money to get it done right now!

I've had all 4 pulled, too.
Wishing you the VERY best with your 2, Kelly, and prayers and thoughts sent your way, Wxbuddy!

I only have 2--mine came in-hurt badly for months, then they broke and no longer hurt-There is an old wives tale than when you get your wisdom teeth pulled, you are halfway done with your life. Guess I will live forever

I've had all four pulled, followed by another four because there was too much crowding. You'll be fine.

That bad, huh?
It seems like it goes really smooth for some and horrible for others. I hope I'm one of the smooth ones! I watched a friend have an awful time afterward and it was almost a breeze for another.
Thanks for the well wishes. I don't know when I'm having it done yet...they're going to call back to schedule it.
I remember when you got yours done, HD.

Valium dont work for me at a dentist---they still cant do my teeth because my blood-pressure skyrockets in a dentist chair--I best never go and just deal with the problems.

If my wisdom teeth have to come out, I am looking at some very expensive surgery. My wisdom teeth are turned upside down and buried in the jawbone. If they erupt , they will go thru the bottom of my jaw. My dentist said he had never seen teeth that had done that. He called it severely impacted.

I had my two top ones pulled separately and the bottom two came out at the same time. The bottom ones made my jaw swell horribly. I was in alot of pain before I had those two out but in a strange way, even though I hurt after they were extracted, it was a
good hurt - I knew that the pain was going to go away.
Like alicia said, drugs are your friend!

I only had 2... removed in November. Both on the bottom. It wasn't too bad. I was out cold when they took them out. Here it is... 9:30am, I'm wide awake. Within 3 minutes of that stuff they put you to sleep with running I was barely able to keep my eyes open. I woke up 45 minutes later and everything was over. I wasn't even severely limited. Within an hour of getting home I was up and about. Eating was terrible for about a day, but I was fine after that.

Then I only live to be 32. I'm not even middle-aged then.

Good luck Kelly, I hope everything comes out ok.
I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth, but I had to get two other teeth pulled. Go figure.

I had all of mine pulled at 16 and and I am now 42 (ouch! Hard to believe how fast it sneaks up on you!). I guess I wasn't half done living yet! Don't let that crazy stuff get to you.

I had four pulled all at the same time when I was 14. Lots of soft foods that week.
