catfish!!!!!

I just heard that a guy in ILL. over the weekend caught a 124 lb. CATFISH!!!! I fish when I can I have never caught anything that big! : :

The largest catfish I've witnessed was 39 inches long, but we didn't have scales to weigh it. It was a female that had been on the bed and was half starved. It took two men to carry it. Our friends caught it near Shell Island on the Withlacoochee river. I can't imagine how much her normal weight would have been.

My uncle caught a 57lb. Blue cat, it was as long as me. Got a friend who caught a 75 pounder, but I did not see it.

I heard about this fish, too, on the news and that it's probably at least 25 years-old and will be sent to an aquarium in Kansas City, MO!

Wow! I've seen some preety big cat's but I've never seen one that big!

Poor fish. That's sad. He must have been traumatized by the move and it killed him.
