A serious accident on Interstate 75 has caused major delays this afternoon. Here's the latest from WLWT-TV 5 in Cincinnati.

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. -- A violent multi-vehicle crash has killed one person and backed up holiday weekend traffic for about 15 miles on southbound Interstate 75 in Northern Kentucky Friday afternoon, News 5 reported.
A tractor-trailer, a motorcycle and several cars were involved in the accident between the Mount Zion Road exit and the rest area, police said.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now, ARTIMIS is reporting that the accident scene will not be cleared until 11pm EDT. Travelers through the Cincinnati area are advised to expect 3 hour delays on southbound I-75. If headed to Lexington or Tennessee, travelers can take US 25 to KY 338 and return to southbound 75. People headed to Louisville or Nashville should take US 42 to I-71 via KY 227.
