Not anybody I had ever heard speculated about. Can't say I'd heard of him before today.

I hadn't either(Watergate was a little before my time though
) I remember the 30th anniversary several years ago and none of the names floated around then were this guy. He's 91 and was 2nd in command at the FBI then. Carl Bernstein isn't saying anything... saying he'll confirm the ID when the person dies.Posted: Tue May 31, 2005 11:32 am

I haven't found it yet, but I could have sworn someone posted last year or the year before (maybe in some lost prediction thread) that we'd find out who DT was.
