Anne Bancroft

I am saddened to post that Fox News is reporting the death of actress Anne Bancroft. She was wonderful with Patty Duke in "The Miracle Worker," as well as "The Graduate" and "The Slender Thread" (my three personal favorites of hers).
My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Brooks, son Max, and the rest of the Bancroft/Brooks family as well as to Anna Duke and many others whose lives she touched.
R.I.P., Anne. :o(

Other than The Graduate, she displayed a sense of comedic genius in Mel Brooks' To Be or Not To Be; that first scene in Polish was a "crack-up"!

What a wonderful actress!!!! She could switch from drama to comedy with ease. What a loss of a talented individual.

She played in "Point of no Return" with Bridgette Fonda.

I also loved her in "The Turning Point" with Shirley MacLaine. Another favorite movie of mine.

And she also played in "Agnes of God" which IMO was a very good performance by her as a nun.
