Seems like working at Wal Mart is really teaching me a lot about life lol..

Anyway.. Here's the lesson I learned..

Remember last week, when I told you I felt cheated {and so did 90 percent of the store practically lol} when another cart pusher got that special award..

Well.. I was talking to 1 of our Csm's today.. and suddenly.. an explosive, but good {for me} outburst came to mind..

So.. at the conclusion of our discussion.. I simply just stated.. "I am #1.. The top dog, the 1 that keeps order in the parking lot.. and {ya might be proud of me for this part}.. I do NOT NEED SOME STUPID AWARD TO LET ME KNOW HOW WELL I DO MY JOB.. BECAUSE I KNOW YOU GUYS KNOW HOW WELL I DO IT!"

Now.. as long as I can keep telling myself that.. I'll be OK.. :) I think I made some of the fellow Csm's proud of me because of that outburst.. because I think some of them have been waiting for me to say something like that lol..

{btw: They finally have another candidate for the pharmacy stocker job so maybe interviews will actually come soon lol}

Good for you, John! :)

I have always had this "who cares about rewards" mentality. The big reward is when you retire! ;)

Contraire. Awards on resumes give you better job opportunities and more money.

GREAT attitude, John! :D

It's often the peeps behind the scenes that make a really BIG difference and life isn't all about being recognized!! :)
