Chinook helicopter crashes in Afghanistan; 17 feared dead

More than 16 U.S. soldiers onboard... crashed into the side of a mountain. Some casualties reported.

Typically, the most fatal type of crash - helicopter.

Side of a mountain too... I imagine the survival rate isn't very good in that situation.
Fortunately it appears the plane had only half what it can hold(33 passengers) so that's some good news.
