senate passes welfare bill, another freebie

"THE SENATE PASSES A WELFARE BILL
The U.S. Senate has passed a bill that calls for $400 checks to be sent to low income workers for each dependent child. The parents who will get these checks do not pay income taxes, yet the Democrats, and some Republicans, are calling this a “tax cut.”

This is all so simple. If you don’t pay taxes you can’t get a tax cut. So, if it’s not a tax cut .. what is it? It’s a welfare bill. It’s income redistribution. It’s a subsidy. It’s taking money from the people who actually worked for it and giving it to someone who did not earn it.

More simply … it’s vote buying.

Now ... watch the news today. I want you to see how many reporters or news anchors actually say that these checks will go to people who do not pay income taxes. My guess is that the only place you will see that little fact presented to the people will be on Fox News. That's why the left hates Fox News so much."

This is probably easier to read:

Tax cuts for workers who don't pay income taxes doesn't sound right to me.

Are you talking about an amendment to the tax cut plan Helen? If so, then this is error reporting. All amendments attempted by the Dems failed ALL 100 of them.

I don't know where all those numbers came from in your original post rainstorm, but before you hit submit, click on preview and it will show you how your message will appear and give you the opportunity to edit if need be. When you copy and paste, sometimes things don't show up correctly. This will give you the chance to fix those little errors. ;)
