"Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic. "

(from Bull Durham)

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time. "

(from Old School...my thirty-something pals and I use that one on each other a lot)

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it. "

and

"You killed the car."

(from Ferris Bueller's Day Off)

Sorry, I couldn't pick just one :)

(Newt, the little girl in ALIENS) "Mommy said that there are no monsters - not real ones... but there are."

This applies so very well to the endless parade of stories in the news - the strife, murder and mayhem.

"Play it again, Sam" would rank right up there with that one, as it was never said in Casablanca. But a lot of people sure think it was. :)

"Ah, the 'Riddle of Steel'! You know what it is, don't you, boy? Shall I tell you? It's the least I can do...Steel isn't strong, boy; flesh is stronger! Look around you...What is steel, compared to the hand that wields it?" -James Earl Jones as "Thulsa Doom" in Conan The Barbarian
