The one thing about teaching is that you have a first day ever year. This is my second year part-time teaching and coaching debate. I am getting ready to head out for my first day. Hopefully this year will be even better than last. My classroom numbers are up so the room should be fuller, nonetheless.

Also, tomorrow begins my sister Retha's very first year ever to teach a school class and her 2 kids will be in their respective classrooms, also. They've been home-schooled for the past few years...but the home-schooling wasn't going that great for them...so we'll see how this year goes.

I am right up there with you on this. Except I am the sub who comes in for the teachers when they need to be out. My first day is everytime.

Yeah. Since I only teach p/t, sometimes I get to sub, too, and boy that is interesting to say the least.

Aww, Garrett - I wish you the very best. Teachers have my UTMOST respect, always. 99.9% of the time, that is, ....it takes a very special person to teach our kids!

And I think you have that special gift. You'll do great!
