You all probably thought I had dropped off the face of the earth...Hehe.

I've been moderating over at WxChat and due to my Asperger Syndrome (high-functioning autism) plus other health issues like feeling lousy alot with my hypoglycemia and hay fever...I decided to hang up the mod boots and just be an ordinary member...and I honestly don't miss not being in a position of authority anymore!
Now I can spend more time here too along with WxChat, again!
God Bless You,
Eric

Eric....Miss Mary and I were having a "mutual concern" session about you earlier today. So glad to hear that you are ok...and willing to devote some time here. Your positive attitude is always appreciated. Nice to see you again!

Always great to be here, Brenda, Steve, Donna and David!
My part-time job at a copy center is still going wonderfully and I celebrate my
3rd anniversary with them this month!

Getting ready to work on the Roanoke Rapids Sanitation District annual newsletter order in the next few
days.

The work also really gives me great experience in putting data in a computer and burning that data on CDs, etc., plus other assorted copy center machines, too!
Had a very wet May here in northeast NC and early June has been that way, too...at least it's helping the water table for the latter summer months in
case a period of drought enters the picture for later on!

Eric - yes Steve and I were mutually concerned about you!!! I was starting to think you had dropped off the face of the earth! Hope you know I wasn't trying to pry, just missed you is all!
Now go see the May newsletter when you have time. Bio's for starters (you'll see a few familiar names) and you have to read the post of the month. Great articles too!!! It's not as if you have anything to do (except catch up on all the posts)....he he.

Eric, I'm so glad to see you post.
To tell you the truth, I don't care where you post, just as long as you post. You contribute sooooo much no matter where you are.
Take care my brother and God Bless

Mary,
A fella couldn't feel more Blessed to have caring, wonderful and loving Wxbuddies like you, Steve, etc!

I'll go and read the newsletter now!

Will take me awhile going through ("ketch-up time") the topics, too, at the Forums!

Hey Karan and Shannon!
Thank you very much for the warm welcome back, ya'll!

What a fantastic newsletter that Storm2K always has for it's members/posters and all those very dedicated and diligent in their work to bringing it to us!!

Many thank yous!!!
Mary and Cyclone (Graham) it was WAY COOL reading your Bios and Mary, it brought some tears to my eyes reading about when you met Tracy, Lisa and I at the former TWC chat room!

I remember the 1977/78 winters very much so there in Cincy and remembering seeing a pic and article about the frozen-over Ohio River...wish I had kept that article and pic! :o
Graham, your Bio was very interesting, too, Wxbuddy!

I also noticed you enjoy Art...for awhile during my grade school years when I lived in Cincinnati I took some Saturday lessons at the Cincy Art Museum and really enjoyed it!

One highlight was when the class members made some home made cartoon films and showed them to our "private audience" in the museum auditorium!

I used to do alot more drawing...but still occasionally I love to doodle or do some cartooning in general!
Eric
PS: Hey Annette and Joshua!

Welcome back Eric!
I knew you were going to post here very soon (even as early as this evening).
You are a great person, Eric. We have something in common, which makes our relationship so much better. No offense to anyone else, of course. I appreciate the friendliness among the members here.

Hi Tom,
Yes, it's absolutely awesome to re-connect with Wxbuddies, like yourself, here again!

I first noticed your profile while at TWC boards there at the Tropics Forum...and when I came across the words Asperger Syndrome (I thought...Hey, here's another Wxbuddy who has A.S.!) and then Joshua relating about his A.S., too, and it really is nice to share with you guys about how we manage with our high-functioning autism.

Thank you always Tom for having started a topic at the former Off-Topic Forum at TWC and then at WxChat and here at Storm2K about Asperger's to be able to educate others about the disorder.

I know that Azskyman (Steve) volunteers as a mentor/tutor with school students and he has worked with a couple of A.S. individuals in the past among the other kids.
Even American Idol star Clay Aiken's favorite charity that he gives to in part with his earnings is to the National Autism Society!
