The Water Lilys have bloomed

They have bloomed for the first time this year, and they look awesome. I am just like a proud father.
My wife is happy too!

Oh, weatherwunder, those are beautiful, coming up, reflecting
on the water! Another beautiful cousin to the water lily is the
Asian lotus, but, I'm not sure that they would do well in
northern climates.

My water lilies are blooming, too. I have tropicals so they're very fragrant. Have you tried cutting some and floating them in water? They open and close just like they do outside.

Did you know that you can also do the fragrant passionflower, the same way? The flowers only last a day though. I gave my neighbor a bowl of them one day. She loved them.

I didn't know that about passionflowers, Deb! Can't grow them
well in southern TN, though - they're more suited for your climate -
they are beautiful, though, indeed!
