At 8:00pm est I would like all members or anyone interested to email friends as well to hold a 1 minute prayer time or however long you need.

I am asking everyone to pray for those who are stranded at the moment awaiting rescue, for those who have lost loved ones, lost homes and posessions. To pray for those who are involved in the rescues and searches. Pray that people who have not been directly impacted to open there hearts and pocket books that agency's like FEMA, the Red Cross, Salvation army and others like them will recieve an overwhelming response. If there is a specific person or area that is weighing on your heart, pray about it.

Amanzi.....what a lovely gesture you have suggested. The gardening forum I post in does this once in a while......when someone is in need of "assistance". There surely is a gigantic need right now.

I'm just now seeing this, but I am praying for them.

I ran late due to needing to eat (due to medication) and also seeing this thread too late but I said a 2 minute silent prayer and also observed a 2 minute moment of silence at the same time from 6:10 PM to 6:12 PM PDT.
