15. The beach

16. Finding a 20 dollar bill in your coat from last winter

17. Laughing at yourself

19. Midnight phone calls that last for hours

20. Running through sprinklers

21. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all

22. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful

23. Laughing at an inside joke

24. Friends

25. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you

26. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep

27. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner)

28. Making new friends or spending time with old ones

29. Playing with a new puppy

30. Having someone play with your hair

31. Sweet dreams

32. Hot chocolate

33. Road trips with friends

Ahhh, those simple pleasures that we so easily forget. Why is life so complicated?

Aw, I was thinking really naturally "high"...LOL, like being
in a greenhouse with 100% oxygen, shopping for flowers...
...Mmmmmm....that pure oxygen makes you feel good...!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I get one every once in a while because after you've been running long enough (about 10 miles or so) your body starts producing its own version of opium, the drug in heroine. Not a ton of it, but still enough that makes you happy when you're running. I don't think too many people on this board can claim to have done this, but I'd thought I'd share anyways.

Making an arrest of a child molester, drug dealer, METH cooker, wife beater, someone who abuses a child, a drunk driver.......the list goes on and on and on and on................................................

and then seeing them sentenced fairly --- unfortunately, this usually results in a natural low

A natural high for me would be seeing blooms on my daylilies in Dec which might be what I will have if the weather holds and doesn't freeze.

Having your daughter tell you that you are the best mommy in the whole word.....and know she really means it.
