What kind of bread do you prefer....white or wheat?
Me.....wheat, 12 grain actually but ONCE in a blue moon, I love a sandwich on white bread!! I know, I know, white bread is BAD for ya but ya know what? So is beer, cigarettes, coffee, the air we take in so I figure 2 pieces of white bread once a week ain't TOO bad!

Wheat, although I don't mind eating white bread sometimes, either!

I try not to eat bread too often, but when I do, it's always any kind of grain.
I could probably work in a chocolate store and not indulge in the merchandise, but in a bakery, watch out -- and not for the cookies and cakes -- I'm a bona fide breadaholic, especially still warm from the oven....
OK, I've got to stop even thinking about bread. I went off the wagon for Thanksgiving and I might just as well have injected that delicious bread-based stuffing and homemade cranberry bread right into my tummy, thighs, and booty!

Merita white bread. It is a very soft bread, that is all I buy. They make it locally I guess thats why it is so fresh and soft, it takes about 3 weeks for that stuff to grow mold. lol. But I am not keen on any wheat bread, the old man likes it, but not me.

Wheat...but occasionally will have white.
I also like the Amish Potato Loaf bread, too.

Wheat or multigrain for me, I can't stand white bread, when I bite into a sandwich made with white bread, I get bread stuck behind my front teeth and I have to dig it out before I can take another bite.

Sigh.....white out of necessity. Wheat if I could! JenBayles know's what I'm talking about (cajungal too!). But I can't stand Wonder Bread, I prefer fresh bread from a local bakery, sliced on their slicer. Just your simple, "Little House on the Prairie" type bread....LOL

None of that "bird seed" bread! I hate when bread has seeds in it.
I prefer white bread.
Not Rye.
That stuff is to darn dry.

I switch between both.....Merita white for sure.....for those leftover turkey sammys....yumm......nuttin better!!!!
but i do love wheat too....Autumn Grain is a good one........i think its part both(white and wheat).........but i do love a good whole wheat bread on a good sub sandwich!
Talking about the whole grain breads that stick in your teeth..

those are good toasted w/butter and jelly on them in the mornin'.....with a fat cup of coffee..

that way those grains dont stick in your teeth as bad......he he

and they are so good for you.

BUT gotta love the white...........was raised on it......till they came out with all the HEALTHY stuff!!

The way this family goes through bread? Store brand white - $0.89 a loaf. That's the ticket!

White. With 5 people in the house, we are constantly needing more.

Alice, I'm with you. I love rye bread of any kind. I also like multi-grain and a really fresh Tuscan bread.

I LOVE rye bread...especially the "Monk's Bread" we used to get when I was little.
Sourdough is OK, too...but Debi insists on store-brand "stone-ground" wheat bread.

lol Ed!
As I sit here eating my roast beef on WHITE, I'm wishing for good, fresh French bread.
