OMG!!! I presume you had a flight cancelled? If that happened then they should have put you up in a motel overnight!!! I would be livid if I were in that situation.

lol no. My flight leaves at 9:23 AM and the first bus from State College to Harrisburg in the mornings doesn't get to Hbg until 9:15 AM, so I had to take a saturday night bus and sleep in the airport.

Wait, sleep? What's that? *sigh

Whatever you do, don't go around screaming 'I'm crazy! I'm crazy! Don't make me do it Susan' at the top of your lungs while closing your fists and throwing punches at the air. It might break the monotony for a while, but trust me when the three security guards get you, two in your legs and one at your neck, it loses the novelty fast.

Don't ask me how I know.

Walk up to people standing at a gate and stand in front of them with a serious face and say... "Don't get on the flight." Then just walk away not cracking a smile or show any emotion.

JUST KIDDING. That was a Dane Cook (comedian) skit on his old cd.

I actually took a flight from Pittsburgh to State College and back...back in the early 90's. I remember asking for a cup of coffee and the flight attendant said,"Well, I would give you one, but the thermos broke and it is full of glass!"

Maybe the early bus wasn't such a bad idea.

Should be getting closer by now. 5:23 my time. 7:23 yours.

I was going to suggest that you find out where the aiport weather center was and try to get a tour of it!!

Have a safe trip.

You're bored in an Airport!

Ha.... I think I won this competition! Try being stationed in the same place for an extended period of time.... We have no action (except the planes) to keep us entertained. We'll get USO tours maybe once in a great while. Everyone is wearing the same uniform, we all have the same food menu, and most importantly, are all are BORED... meaning morale is getting to a low point... and the earliest I'll be stateside is Jan 12th... all the holidays were spent over here... no cell phones, sometimes no computer access.

Beat that!

I endured that for a month in the summer of 2004...Sorry, not doing that again!! :)

Don't airports have bolted down small TV sets for waiting terminal passengers anymore??

This won't help you this itme, but I suggets you try Priceline.com for a hotel room next time. If you do some research at BiddingForTravel.com you could probably get a room for $20-$30 or even less. IMHO it's way more comfy to spend the overnight hours in a hotel room than the airport.

lol I didn't really have the $ for a hotel room, but thanks all. It was fun, I had a cafe macchiato in the morning, some mcd's breakfast, and I flew out of there to detroit and to memphis and to home. It was great ;)

 I remember college, and not having $20-$30 to use. ;)

In that case, next time check out sleepinginairports.net for good advice on where to find the best sleeping accomodations in various airports. :)
