Somewhat of a continuation of the do you believe thread..

Since my son was a baby, he always talked to people that couldn't be seen with the naked eye. He has often talked about his Great-Grandma Hannah (passed) being around him. The last home we lived in was 100 years old. We often had doors opening and shutting by themselves and my son would often talk abouth the bad man who lived there. Anyhow if any of you remember the movie Sixth Sense the mother noticed that in the boy's baby pictures there was always something there.

We took this picture Tuesday afternoon after swimming at a local park. The picture was not touched up in any way, nor was there a smudge on the lens on pictures taken before or after this one. Take a look near his left arm. Anyhow, think what you will, but I thought I would share.

I'm not sure what to make of it Sandi, but I definitely believe in guardian angels (because I have one :)

Yes I think we all do have guardian angels.

I failed to mention that in 90% of the pictures of my son there is always something like this on him or very close to him.

Very interesting. Although I have never seen or felt the presence of an apparition, I do believe in them.

My Mother explained to me that Her Mother had spoken to her after she had passed away.
And Also-
I also worked with a lady that could move things without touching them. I never saw her do it, nor asked her to "prove it", as I had no reason to doubt her. She had nothing to gain in revealing this to me.

I've had doubters say "Perry, how do you know your mother is in heaven"? (very cruel doubters I might add); and "Why do you believe in guardian angels, that your mom is one?..

Only a few nights before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, both my sister and I had the exact same dream about mom...at the same time, and both of us recieved the same warning from her (mom told me "time is short...please tell Becky" and told sis "time is short...please tell Perry").

I awoke at 4:45 a.m. and prepared to call Becky when the phone rang. It WAS Becky, at 1:45 a.m. in Portland, Oregon, calling to tell me about the same dream I'd just had....and the message (the same reason I was going to call her).

My sister and I live 2600 miles apart, hadn't seen each other in almost a year, and hadn't discussed mom....not since Christmas (and this occurred in early September).

Everything sis described about the dream matched the dream I had (mom was in a bright meadow, green grass....mom was dressed in all white...so white it was shining, sitting on a marble bench alongside a sparkling stream).

I think I see it... where the sleeve is covering... looks like something is there. Quite creepy! :o

I also believe in Guardian Angels... dunno if I have one, YET. Perry, that's quite a story... very scary, too. Wonder how that kind of stuff happens... just goes to show what WEIRD things you can experience in a dream.

It didn't really scare me Colin (no dream I've ever had about my mother was frightening)....but when the telephone rang and I heard Becky's voice that time of night, I was totally shocked (when I told her about me having the same dream, why I was awake preparing to call her...she was shocked too).

We both took the dream as a warning. The 9/11 terrorist attack occurred only a few days later. While I rarely fly on an airliner, Becky and her husband fly frequently...but thankfully neither was in the air on 9/11 (they flew to L.A. last week for their vacation--took the kids to Disneyland...are flying back to Portland in the morning).

God Bless,
Perry

I didn't think it was really scary to you, since it was a dream with your mother, but it's just such a coincidence, and that's the thing that scares me the most.

Very shocking nonetheless! :o BTW, my birthday is September 10, and on that day of the year 2001, was "the last day or normalcy" so to speak...

The world and America has definitely changed since 9/11/01 Colin (as my sweetheart eight year {then 7} old niece found out last November when being frisked by airport security at Portland International :(

I ran into a message board a few weeks ago that kept the entire thread of Sept 11th up.

It was amazing to sit there and read the posts starting from the first plane crashing into the WTC. The posts really mirrored what all of us as Americans were feeling at the time. The emotions ranged from..
What the heck? to
Please God, help them! to
A second plane??? to
What the heck? to
Please God help them! to
The Pentagon?? to
This is scary!! to
Another crash in Pennsylvania?? to
I need to get my kids from school!!

I sat there and read each post, feeling each emotion typed on the page as raw as if the person was in front of me talking. I read those posts for well over three hours, and cried on and off for the most part of said time.

No, we will never be the same.
