What do wish your name was?

I'll admit I've never been thrilled with the name Perry. Too many people get it wrong and call me "Terry"....and more than a few have mistaken me as African American (nothing wrong with that, except I'm not).
What do I WISH my name was? In all honesty, I wish dad had just named me after him......I'd love to be known as "Bill WII" or "Bill Jr"; much better than "Purry-lee" (what my aunt in Tennessee calls me
What do you wish your first name was????
Have fun,
Perry

No Way! I love the name Perry! It makes me think of a tall, dark, handsome mysterious man. Bill just makes me think of Cigars...not a good thing...

Perry Masonary. That's a flashback. Wasn't there some satire or play on words somewhere that originated that. I think it was on tv somewhere. Where? I couldn't tell you.

Thanke RP
Strangely enough, I can't remember ever being called Jerry. It was always Terry or Gary (usually by teachers). Even when they'd get my name right....here in the deep south it sometimes came out "Purry" instead of "Perry" (I've also been addressed as "Pear-E).
Of course, when Maddie was little she always called me "Uncle Peery"
I guess Perry is a pretty cool name. When I recently visited my middle school PE teacher Mrs Bryson, she remembered me immediately when she heard the name Perry....as she said "I haven't taught many Perry's over the years"

LoL, Perry, you're Perry to us, and, that's just cool!
I have always liked being Annette, because, there's
not a whole bunch of us, out there. Of course, as I
mentioned in another thread, my Mom like that
Mousekateer with the same name! But, there are not
many Annette's around here, and, it makes me feel
quite original!

The most obvious spin on my first name would be D i c k. Which to some, might not be too flattering. But....That's what everyone called my dad.
If it had ever caught on as my nickname, I wouldn't have a prob with it

OMG....have you seen my new gallery photo Sandi? I'm neither tall, dark, or handsome

(that's why I sent in a gallery photo with little sis and Granny in it-- so everyone would see their beauty and not my ugly
