Urgent prayers for Azsnowman

My dearest friends,
I come to you with a heavy heart at this time asking for prayers for my father. At this time, 11 Jan. at 12:30 hrs. his health has deteriorated to the point that I don't believe he will live another 2-3 days if that. He sustained a rather bad fall over the past weekend and spent 2 days at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low.....he hasn't eaten in 7 days, he's barely keeping down any fluids and his mental status has failed miserably, he doesn't know anyone around him. He is at home now with my step mother by his side. As most of you know, she is the one of the Shift Charge Nurses at RTA Hospice here in Pinetop/Lakeside........she knows the signs and made the phone call about 1/2 hour ago in regards to my fathers failing condition. My fathers health has been failing for quite some time now but he has rallied back, this time is different. We believe he suffered a minor stroke last Friday and since then his health has RAPIDLY declined, he has lost the will to live and at 86 years old, I believe he's entitled to that. He has lived a wonderful life, he taught me everything I know about fishing, hunting. He was a GREAT provider for his family, I never wanted for anything growing up. He has often said that he wishes he could have done more for me but honestly, I KNOW he did a HELL of job raising me, I think I turned out OK and for that, I am eternally grateful.
It is at this time I am asking for prayers that my father doesn't suffer and make the transition to the "Other side" in peace.
I will not be online for awhile, please feel free to post something at Storm2K.
Sincerely,
Dennis
