Very sad news..

.. we used to play Midnight Hour and Mustang Sally in my former band Too Many Shoes... Tracey sang them....always crowd pleasing, fun songs to play.

Pickett's (original) "Midnight Hour" and "Mustang Sally" were staples at dances during my teen-age years. Talk about really sensuous words for a sheltered little white girl from the suburbs to "swoon" to:
"I'm gonna wait 'til the midnight hour
That's when my love comes tumbling down.
I'm gonna wait 'til the midnight hour
When there's nobody else around.
I'm gonna kiss you, girl, and hold you
And do all the things I told you
In the midnight hour."
R & B has lost one of its finest. RIP, Wilson Pickett.
