If You Are Passing Through Phoenix...

Hi there. This should be fun.
On Sunday, February 19th, from 12-3 pm, I'll be sharing my history and enthusiasm for backyard weather observing at an event hosted by longtime meteorologist Ed Phillips (KTAR radio these days).
Called Barometers and Backyard Weather, he and I will be discussing the use of personal weather instruments and the various components of weather (and non-weather) that occur here in Arizona.
The event will be at Weather and Coffee, a weather-themed coffee shop started by his wife Anne and himself a while back. It is right off the 51 Freeway in north Phoenix, and easy to find.
So, I realize most of you won't be able to make the trip out this way just for this event, but for anyone who might want to consider it, it would be a chance to meet me, meet Ed, and just have a few hours of conversation about weather and how much fun you can have observing it.
You are ALL invited. Admission is free (but it would be nice if you would buy a cup of Ed's Arizona Blend coffee!!)
I'll post a photo or two of the event when it's over. You'll even have a chance to meet my lovely wife...The Mrs. Poppysky!!!
