Jen moves on; Vince moves in

We've all heard the mantra about how Jennifer Aniston is totally over Brad Pitt and doing just fine, thank you very much. But she apparently couldn't stop the waterworks from turning on when she learned he was on the stork's delivery route.
According to People, the actress shed a few tears when she got early word -- from someone other than her ex-husband -- that Angelina Jolie was expecting.
"Jennifer was very upset -- she was crying," a "source close to the situation" tells the magazine. Adds an insider to Us Weekly, "Jennifer was horrified by the news."
Still, by the time the baby bombshell dropped in the press, it seems she had come to terms with it.
"Jennifer is fine [about the pregnancy]," a pal asserts to People, with another insisting, "She's moved on. She really has. She's very happy with her life right now."
Part of the reason for that happiness seems to be her continued closeness with Vince Vaughn, who has reportedly been crashing at her Hollywood Hills pad since the beginning of the year.
"Vince has been there for her 24/7," a snitch tells the Star. "He's endeared himself to her so much that she told him to move in."
The height-challenged squeezes, who were first spotted looking lovey-dovey last summer on the Chicago set of "The Break-Up," have become "inseparable," a Vaughn buddy tells People.
(Well, except for the last few days. Work commitments are said to have kept the funnyman from the Sundance Film Festival, where Aniston braved the press to promote her well-received flick "Friends with Money.")
"They met at a time when she needed someone to make her smile," continues the friend. "He did a really good job of lifting her spirits, and now it's evolved into a true love affair ... I've never seen him care for anyone this deeply."
And the pal even has a few ideas as to why Jen, who turns 37 next month, is drawn to Vince, 35: "He's an alpha male. He's got fortitude and is resolute in life. But it really comes down to the simple fact that he makes her laugh."
As for where things stand with Pitt, "There is no real animosity," a confidante concludes to People. "They are not enemies."
