I have also recieved reports from a totally seperate source from this that the Houston Metro area, and specifically the Texas City chemical complex is being targeted for an attack. I must state that the timing of that "possible" attack was for this week which is almost passed.

First I've heard of it (the whole "this week" thing), although it's always been a possibility.

It may be that ducks were not included in the conference call!!

I'll see if I can find a couple of spare tin-foil hats to send to Capt. May and Mr. Szymanski. They clearly need them much more than I ever would.



BTW, doesn't every major municipality run such drills every now and then? I know Miami has in the past.

Yes Houston has in the past, in fact I know I have heard about it within the last year.

Houston PD was certainly busy this past hour! Anybody else catch that chase on TV?

I think that the only option w/r/t a nuclear attack on any of our cities is prevention. There's not much we could do after the fact in my opinion.
