Residents Return Home After Bomb Search, Arrest

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Evacuated residents from 12 Grand Prairie homes are allowed to return Tuesday morning after a bomb search and the arrest of a suspect accused of trying to make a pipe bomb overnight.
Police say they found what appear to be bomb-related components in a house in the 1000 block of Small Street.
Authorities say they received a tip about 10 p.m. Monday, and arrested Rodney Lightfoot, 34, at the house. The suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants.
A woman and child were also evacuated from the home.
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents were called in and a bomb squad began searching the house and surrounding area.
