I'd appreciate the thought!
Is there a story behind this Ed?

I would think "They're beautiful anyway. I still love it"
I was wondering the same thing, Steph, and decided I better not comment further.

I don't think I'd have counted the roses
But if I did, then I'd still be grateful to have some.

"They're beautiful anyway. I still love it"
But depending on the husband this may come up,
Do you wonder if he gave that 12th rose to someone else?
But I really don't think I would have noticed, I would just be
happy to have gotten them.

I voted on the first one, saying they're beautiful anyway.
Actually, one single rose, surrounded by baby's breath and greens is more my style! Simple-simple. LOL

Well thanks for your input everyone!
My situation is blowing over. My wife would have liked me to go get the 12th one because after all I did pay for it. But I had lost the receipt, and I didn't really feel like going into the florists and causing a problem. There is also the possibilty that our 14 year old son took one for HIS girlfirend, but he denies it up and down. So who knows. (I got her a necklace too)
My wife did ask if I gave one of them to someone, and she could tell by my reaction that I didn't. She tests me like that. (Hint to men: It's always easier to just do the right thing. Then you never have to lie about anything or apologize)
