another comment on that is I know that Actors and Actress's work very hard and should be awarded but, they make a lot of money and that is there reward. I think that today they wrong people are emulated. I think the very people that should be emulated are the people who save lives and are important to the structure of this country.

Yes, the morality of Hollywood today stinks big time! The new trend of haveing to have a baby under your arm, (unwed) is replacing the last trend of having to have a tea cup sized pooch under your arm...I think Hollywood is using babies as accessories and it makes me sick. "Ooooo my babygirl matches my Prada bag, isn't it just darling??!!".....gag

We're VERY proud of that young man and he's genuine and humble compared to most celebs!
Also, he has done some fine work with autistic people in the past and continues to devote to them when he can...you should also read his inspirational autobiography.

Most celebrities are overrated. However, many who possess true talent (those who deserve to be call actors) are not. Some of my favorites are relative unknowns to most households and tabloids.

I'm sick of Angelina Jolie. Her pout was cute for a while, but that's all you ever see. She and Brad deserve each other. Let them both go pout somewhere.

I personally would extend the overrated celebrity list to include many in the National Felons League, the Naughty Boys Association, Major Losers Baseball and all other Professional Sports (and some Olympians) as well as some of those well known Political Figures out there.

I'm taking issue with this one. He HAS TALENT can sing the yellow pages, is Christian, has his own charitable foundation for autistic children called the Bubel/Aiken Foundation. Bubel stands for his student, Michael, that he tutored while going to college and whos mother encouraged him to try out for AI.
His first cd sold over 3 million copies, his Christmas cd sold over 1.2 million copies, he's had 5 tours (2 of them Christmas related) and his new cd should be out by May. Also, he's an ambassador for UNICEF.
Another AI, Kelly Clarkson, is very talented herself. The difference, TO ME, is that these two are not media whores.

I love all the Jolie mentions....cause I agree with all of you. She's so overrated.
I used to not be a fan of Jim Carrey. Thought he was overrated. Hated his movies, facial expressions, etc. That is until I watched The Truman Show.
Sometimes just one role or movie can make you a fan. And a fan I became.
