for my brother. He is struggling with severe bipolar depression and has been recently selected as a candidate for a new therapy called VNS. It just kills me to see him so unhappy and unable to do anything about it so far. His condition has been unresponsive to medications and they have produced more than a few unpleasant side effects as well.
on the up side, we may be getting closer to moving out west as i was offered a job in NM today. I really want to be closer to my brother to help him through this very trying time.

Alice, my prayers will definitely go out for your brother. I certainly hope that the new treatment will work for him. I have gone thru a severe depression and understand just a tiny bit what your brother goes thru. Bi-polar is so very difficult to control. I know how much it meant to have my brother around when I was going thru my depression. I know you must feel so very helpless being so far away from him. It will help you both if you get out west. You must be sooooo very excited to move to where you love it the most. ((HUGS)) my friend.

Hopefully this therapy will make things better.

I will keep he and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
