I'M AN AUNT!!

My brother Daren and sister-in-law Karen had their first baby this afternoon -
A BOY!!
His name is Mason. He weighs...ready???...
10 lbs, 12 ounces and is 23 inches long.
He was a week late. They induced labor this morning and after 2 tries they took him via c-section. Karen never had any real labor pains - her body was probably saying "you're KIDDING ME, right??"
Both are doing fine!

Stephanie - congrats to all! Mason sounds like one healthy baby boy. That's a very good weight. He'll probably be sleeping thru the night, if not already! Best wishes...
