How upset would yopu be if your bank took out more than $1,000, put it back in and then took it right back out the next day? There reason (remember this is coming from the VP) "well, I don't know who changed my numbers, but they don't match with what I have" "I cannot reassure you it won't happen again, we are not robots." :grr: :grr: :grr:

We had a teller embezzle money from our checking account many years ago. We made a deposit thru the drive thru window and kept the deposit slip to reconcile it with the next ban statement. When we started getting bounced checks when we should have had money in the account made us start questioning the bank as to what was going on. They asked us if we had a deposit slip showing where we deposited money and we did. They then asked what teller did you go to? we answered that it was the girl in the third window and she happened to be a Negro( no accusement because of race). It turns out that she had been suspected of embezzleing maoney from many accounts but they couldn't figure out how she did it. Only when we started questioning the bounced checks did they catch her. We changed banks as soon as we could.
